Charlie XCX Vinyl Event Release – Prop Vinyl Wrap Pop-Up

In September 2024, NVS Visuals fabricated and vinyl wrap pop-up: a 30′ x 30′ vinyl record sculpture for Charlie XCX’s release event at Storm King Art Center. The oversized structure was meticulously crafted with treated wood to ensure durability and wrapped with multi-finish vinyls, including gloss, satin, and matte, for a realistic look. Layered decals and precise color matching brought the sculpture to life, perfectly replicating the original album’s design.

One of the biggest challenges was scaling up intricate details, like the album’s sticker seal, and installing the structure on uneven terrain under adverse weather conditions. Through careful material selection, collaboration with the client, and a strategic installation process, we delivered a visually stunning and immersive centerpiece for the release party.

Provided Services:

  • Vinyl signage and wrapping – All of the sponsor booths were wrapped by our team with PVC-Free vinyl
  • Fabricated  – We assisted in the scaling and planning of the oversized album fabrication
  • Color matching – We were tasked with a complex color match to duplicate the album in real life. There were three colors, with two different finishes which needed to be a complete match.
  • Wrapping on elevation – The terrain was uneven, and the sculpture was over 30′ height and 30′ wide – with wind and external factors this was a complex wrap
