Why print on canvas?

 Canvas prints are textured to look like paintings. They often require no frame and can even be printed on the edges. It is a modern and sophisticated way to showcase your images.

How are canvas prints made?

There are many places on the internet where you can order pre-printed or pre-cut canvas art. The NVS difference is that everything we do and every step of our print process is custom. This means that we are not limited by size or structure. We love working with irregular sizes, shapes, and media.

If you’re an artist who would like to print on pre-treated canvas, we can use one of our flatbed printers to UV print. If you would like to print a traditional canvas photo, we would print first and then stretch your print on the wooden stretchers. As for size, we can print up to 8 feet in width and have no limitation on height.

 

What are the possibilities with paper and poster prints?

Here at NVS Visuals, we have the functionality of multiple print shops under one roof. We have solvent, UV, and latex printing capabilities, and we offer custom finishing, mounting, and laminating. The possibilities are nearly endless.

• Custom posters: We print posters on matte, gloss, and satin paper. We also offer a variety of paper weights, depending on whether you would like to hand mount your poster or use wheatpaste.
• Newspaper props: Are you in need of some period-specific newspaper prints for the next set or production? We can print on newspaper stock and follow-up with finishing options such as creasing to a specific fold.
• Custom prop boxes: If your production is looking for cereal boxes, game board boxes, or any other boxes, we would love to print them. We offer custom-printed or folded and vinyl-wrapped options.
• Large scale photo prints: Photo prints are just better when printed larger, and we’re talking very large scale. If you’re looking for a non-standard size of prints that are up to 60 inches wide, we can assist you in choosing between different photo papers such as satin, matte, gloss, or metallic.
