How Brand Activations Work at NVS
We are a production partner, not an agency. You bring the concept — or we help develop it — and we handle the physical execution from first render to final strike. Here is how it works:
1. Scope & Design
We review your brief, visit the site if needed, and produce 3D renderings and technical plans. If you are still in concept phase, our design team develops options based on your goals, audience, and budget. We present material options, structural systems, and AV configurations with clear trade-offs.
2. Fabrication & Production
Once the design is approved, fabrication and graphics production begin simultaneously at our Ridgewood, NY facility. Structural builds, printing, AV prep, and prop fabrication all happen in parallel — because they are all in the same building under the same project manager. This is how we hit timelines that multi-vendor setups cannot.
3. Logistics & Permitting
For mobile activations and touring campaigns, we handle all logistics — vehicle routing, city permits, site coordination, generator and power planning, and crew scheduling for every market. For venue-based activations, we manage load-in scheduling, freight, and site prep.
4. Installation & Activation
Our crews install everything — structures, graphics, AV, furniture, props, and signage. For complex builds, we dry-assemble in our shop first to eliminate surprises on-site. We provide on-site technical support and management through the activation run.
5. Strike & Restoration
We disassemble, remove, and restore the venue. For touring activations, we pack and transport to the next stop. For one-off events, we handle disposal, storage, or asset return based on your needs.

Challenges We Solve
Compressed Timelines
Activation timelines are rarely generous. Briefs arrive late, approvals take longer than planned, and the launch date does not move. Because NVS controls fabrication, graphics, AV, and logistics internally, we overlap workstreams that external vendors would run sequentially. The DDN AI Factory Tour went from concept to nationwide launch in 45 days. The KFC Sundays takeover was designed and built in 14. These are not exceptions — this is how we operate.
Multi-Vendor Fragmentation
The most common failure mode in brand activations is not bad design — it is disconnected execution. The fabrication vendor builds to one spec, the graphics vendor prints to another, the AV company arrives with equipment that does not fit the structure, and the install crew has never seen any of it before. At NVS, the team that designs the wall is the same team that builds it, wraps it, lights it, and installs it. One conversation. One standard.
Scaling Across Markets
A single-market activation is one challenge. A nationwide tour is a fundamentally different operation — you need a build that survives transport, a graphics system that allows market-by-market customization, and a logistics partner that handles permitting in every city. NVS owns the vehicles, builds on modular systems that pack flat and reassemble identically, and manages tour routing and permitting internally.
