From Blank Trailer to Nationwide AI Experience — in 45 Days

The DDN AI Factory Tour is a collaboration between DDN, NVIDIA, and Supermicro — designed to bring the scale and impact of AI infrastructure out of the data center and onto the road. NVS Visuals built the entire activation from the ground up on our 38-foot glass expandable touchdown trailer, transforming it into a fully immersive mobile showroom that launched at NVIDIA GTC in San Jose, California.

This is the largest single project in NVS history. The build was completed on a compressed 45-day timeline — from initial concept through fabrication, AV integration, graphics, and deployment — all executed in-house at our Ridgewood, NY facility.

The Build

NVS delivered a complete ground-up buildout of the trailer interior and exterior. The structural backbone is a custom BeMatrix framing system with glow-edge modular integration — designed so branded graphics can be swapped rapidly between tour stops or campaign phases without structural changes.

Inside, the centerpiece is a 33-foot by 7-foot micro LED video wall — the kind of display you typically see at trade show keynotes, installed inside a mobile trailer. Six vertical touchscreen kiosks and seven 28-inch interactive touchscreens run programmed content that walks visitors through DDN’s AI infrastructure story. Additional vertical display screens provide technical storytelling throughout the space.

The build included custom ceiling and louver installations, architectural finishes, fabricated desks and tables, and a full rooftop lounge with custom printed umbrellas and branded seating. Gaming integrations — Xbox and PlayStation — and a coffee-serving robot round out the experience, turning the trailer into a multi-use hospitality and activation platform.

Tour & Logistics

NVS owns the trailer and the 2026 Mack Pioneer tractor that transports it. We handle all logistics — routing, permitting, transport, setup, and strike — for every stop on the tour.

The AI Factory Tour launched at NVIDIA GTC in San Jose, CA, continued through San Francisco, and is currently heading to Boston in May 2026 with additional nationwide stops planned through the year. The trailer deploys and activates on the same day depending on footprint scope.

What Made This Possible

A project of this complexity — custom trailer fabrication, a 33-foot video wall, interactive technology, modular branding systems, rooftop hospitality, and nationwide logistics — would typically require five or six vendors and three to four months. NVS delivered it with one team in 45 days.
