CARE Package® Anniversary Pop-Up

Highline Nine, New York · In partnership with Known and CARE.org

To mark the anniversary of the iconic CARE Package®, NVS Visuals partnered with Known and CARE.org to fabricate an immersive pop-up exhibition at Highline Nine that walked guests through nearly eight decades of humanitarian history. NVS completely converted the front facade and transformed the entire interior into a hands-on journey — guests packed their own care “packettes,” wrote personal notes, captured a branded photo moment, and moved through a full exhibition tracing the CARE Package® from 1945 to 2026.

Working from the CARE × Known creative direction, NVS designed and built the entire environment in-house. Because of the not-for-profit nature of the project, we partnered closely with Known to engineer every element against a defined budget — making smart material and fabrication choices that maximized impact without compromising the build. The space was defined by custom plywood walls and exposed plywood plinths, a custom-fabricated tent, and metal tables topped with custom woodwork — a warm, tactile material language that carried the brand throughout. Graphics wrapped every surface, from windows and walls to the floor itself, and a custom photo moment was built on beMatrix framing to anchor the guest experience.

The most demanding piece was the front facade. To make the storefront read as the iconic CARE Package® box, our team built a custom beMatrix arch that squared away the building’s existing curves — transforming a rounded facade into the clean, boxy silhouette the concept called for. Every element, from the packing stations to the timeline walls, was fabricated, printed, and installed by our team for a seamless, on-brand result.
