For the second year running, NVS Visuals partnered with PacSun on their activation at Governors Ball. This year the brief changed: rather than the trussed structure with a roof we built in year one, PacSun wanted a cleaner, less truss-like footprint — so we engineered a custom “PacSun Bodega,” a branded concession-stand structure that reads like a classic NYC bodega rather than a festival booth. The entire activation was designed and fabricated in-house within a month.

The centerpiece is a custom-carved 10-foot foam hat sculpture — hand-carved, painted, and finished with applied decals. The bodega structure itself is built on custom beMatrix framing with full cabinetry and millwork, including custom bins for organized product display. We installed a back wall of mirror plexi, backlit lettering for the PacSun Bodega signage and the structure interior, and finished the space with custom millwork built to fit.

Because the structure stands on an open festival field, NVS engineered and stamped all structural plans — including the wind and ballast plan — and coordinated directly with the festival to meet their requirements. The result is a turnkey, code-compliant build that delivered PacSun’s concession-stand concept without a single visible truss.
