Jo Malone London – Raspberry Ripple Pop-Up Fabrication in New York
Pop Up fabrication and branded food truck activations can take many forms, but Jo Malone London’s Raspberry Ripple fragrance launch required a uniquely multi-dimensional approach. Designed and produced with Cathleen O’Neil Productions, the project unfolded as a two-part experiential journey across New York City—one rooted in architectural fabrication and scenic storytelling, and the other in high-volume mobile engagement. NVS Visuals served as the lead production partner across both components, managing fabrication, graphics, vehicle wrapping, permitting, staffing, and logistics fully in-house to ensure both activations felt connected, intentional, and unified under one brand narrative.
The first component took place in Domino Park, where NVS built a fully realized seaside-inspired environment along the Williamsburg waterfront. Designed as an open-air brand world, the installation featured four custom wood huts (11’ x 9’ x 12’), a 50-foot boardwalk, and a centrally placed octagonal ice cream hut complete with operational serving windows. Beyond the architecture, we fabricated an extensive set of branded elements: custom picnic tables and scenic props, roaming sampling tricycles with umbrellas, and interactive pieces such as a CNC-cut puzzle wall, a photo peep board, and a working gashapon machine dispensing Raspberry Ripple keychains. Every graphic—hut wraps, signage, boardwalk visuals—was printed in-house using PVC-free vinyl and recycled boards, reflecting the brand’s playful aesthetic while aligning with sustainable production standards. The result was a textured, layered pop-up that brought the essence of a summer boardwalk into the heart of Brooklyn.
The second component unfolded in Herald Square, where Jo Malone London activated a mobile experiential momentdesigned to reach high-foot-traffic audiences in Midtown Manhattan. For this portion, NVS deployed one of our vintage ice cream trucks (link to your vintage ice cream truck page), transforming it into a Raspberry Ripple service vehicle through a full in-house vinyl wrap and branded upgrades. Our operations team managed all DOT and city permitting, coordinated vehicle transport, and staffed the activation with trained ambassadors and drivers. Over two days, the truck served more than 2,000 guests per day with custom vanilla–raspberry swirl cones, supported by freezer systems, food-service workflow planning, onsite power solutions, and queue management—all handled internally by NVS.
