The Morgan Julia Design pop-up, created with X Projects Worldwide, transformed a Manhattan storefront into a living newspaper. NVS Visuals served as the lead partner from concept through fabrication, visual production, and on-site execution. Together, we developed an experience that captured the energy of New York City while showcasing Morgan Julia Design’s creative process.

From the start, our team collaborated with the creatives at X Projects to shape a visual direction rooted in a modern newspaper aesthetic. We produced every graphic, print, and structural element in-house. The centerpiece was a custom coffee counter fabricated to resemble a New York newspaper stand. Built for quick setup and tight spatial clearance, it served coffee while doubling as an interactive design feature that reflected the studio’s craftsmanship.

Throughout the pop-up, walls were wrapped in vinyl, and window decals added depth and texture. Meanwhile, wheatpaste-style posters covered interior surfaces, creating layers of visual storytelling. We also printed custom fabric for window awnings, replacing the original structure with a soft, branded textile finish. In addition, we produced a set of hanging banner flags to reinforce the city theme and unify the storefront design.

Inside, a moving ornament window display featured Morgan Julia Design canvases suspended at various heights. This kinetic element created a sense of motion and dimension within the space. Every component—from coffee stand to banners—was designed, printed, and fabricated under one roof, ensuring precision and fast delivery despite tight timelines.

Outside, the experience extended onto the street. NVS wrapped a vintage checkered cab and fabricated a custom topper featuring Morgan Julia’s branding. The car served as both a photo booth and an eye-catching installation, inviting guests to interact and capture the moment. As a result, the activation combined creative storytelling, design, and fabrication into one cohesive New York experience.
