Bumble Breakfast Truck – EV Food Truck Activation
Bumble Breakfast Truck – EV Food Truck Activation for NYC’s Finance Crowd
For Bumble’s back-to-work campaign, NVS Visuals turned our all-electric food truck into a breakfast truck for New York’s finance district. Working with the production agency C. O’Neil Productions, we wrapped the truck in matte black with gloss yellow lettering (“Make your move before market close”), permitted six weekday-morning stops and served free bagel sandwiches and iced coffee from 7 to 10:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 15 to October 1, 2026.
The Brief
Bumble wanted to meet finance professionals on their way into the office, near the big banks and investment firms, with a breakfast worth stopping for and a message about dating that spoke their language.
- A branded vehicle that could park near Wall Street and Midtown offices at rush hour
- A hot breakfast program that served a line fast before the market opened
- Signage and photo moments built around the “on the market” theme
How We Built It
The truck. We chose our EV food truck because it drives itself between sites and runs without a generator, so it stayed quiet on residential and office blocks. We printed and installed a full matte black wrap with gloss yellow Bumble lettering, a large hex logo on the back and the campaign line on the side.
The breakfast. Our culinary team served bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwiches, iced coffee and iced tea with oat or whole milk, from a two-person kitchen crew dressed in black. After the first morning we doubled the daily sandwich count to keep up with the line.
Signage and the line. We built a milled metal A-frame (“We’re bullish on dating”), printed large menus and an “On the market / Off the market” sign, and supplied stanchions and bins to keep the queue tidy on the sidewalk.
Permits. We secured street permits through the Mayor’s office for every stop and adjusted locations with the city when needed: N Moore Street in Tribeca across from Citi, Fulton Street in the Financial District, and West 31st Street by Manhattan West.
Breakfast and Coffee Trucks for Brands
A morning truck reaches commuters at the one time of day they’re all on the street. Because we own the vehicles, print the wraps and run the kitchen, a brand can go from idea to first service in a few weeks.
